National Institute of Technology administered written test to admit eligible students in various National Technology Institute of Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal and Calicut etc. Like every year, a lot of passionate students looking to enroll themselves in technological study, sit for the exam and this year, it was no exception. Thousands of students appeared for the exam and the exam was held on 31st May.
Probable date to publish NIMCET Result 2015 is 10th June. The authority will try to complete and publish result within that date. However, in case of any unavoidable situation, result date may get deferred. In that case, notice will be circulated and new tentative date will be declared. So, candidates need not worry too much. They need to stay relaxed and hope for the best. Result will be uploaded on the official website: www.nimcet2015.nita.ac.in.
The exam was multiple choice type and contained several sections. Sections include: Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, General English and Computer Awareness. From Mathematics, 50 questions were set and it contained 200 marks. Logical Reasoning section consisted of 160 mark and Computer Awareness and English segment had full mark of 80 and 40 respectively. Full mark of the entire exam was 480. So, NIMCET MCA Result 2015 will be published based on the cumulative mark of the written exam.
Answer key is already available on the website for all sets and for all question parts. So, all the applicants will get the chance to match their answer with the solution given. Answer key is available in PDF format and solution given is authentic and checked before uploading. Therefore, the answer key is reliable and indicative of the actual answer. NIMCET Merit List 2015 will be published on the basis of mark obtained by the candidates. Applicants will need to pass in each of the section separately and get a minimum cumulative mark as well. Combined list will be uploaded on the website in PDF format.

NIMCET Cut off Mark 2015 is not explicitly declared by the authority. However, the cut off score will depend on multiple factors such as number of seats, number of participating institutes, number of test takers, difficulty level of the exam, etc. Applicants securing minimum score or above will be selected for admission.
Candidates securing zero or negative marks either in Mathematics or Total Marks will be disqualified. Based on the marks obtained by a qualified candidate in NIMCET 2015 exam, a rank will be allotted by adopting the following criteria. The marks obtained in Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness, English, will be multiplied by a factor of 3, 1, 2 and 1 respectively. Thus maximum weighted marks will be 1000.
Ranking will be based on total weighted marks obtained by a candidate. In case of a tie, it will be resolved based on weighted marks in Mathematics, then on weighted marks in Logical reasoning and then on weighted marks in Computer Awareness. In case the tie is not resolved by the above criteria stated in the above paragraph, then it will be resolved by age i.e., in favour of elder candidate.
After NIMCET 2015 Result declaration, the seat allotment process will be done throughNIMCET 2015 Counselling. Candidates assigned a NIMCET rank are required to provide their choices of participating institutes in their order of preference between 11th June to 15th June. After counselling process, seat allotment will be done and will be conducted in four rounds. First round will be held on 18th June. 2nd, 3rd and final round of allotment will be held on 26th June, 3rd July and on 21st July.
